50 greatest hammers

Don't know if you've been following this. About to break into top ten. Dicksie has just come in at number 12. Should be higher, I think. WHO is your top ten?

I have no idea why people continually put Tevez so high up in the list of greatest Hammers, he only started 22 games for us. There are plenty more players that have pulled on the Claret and Blue who deserve to be in his place and higher.

Dicks should not be in the top ten at all. He is not even our record goal scoring full back.

I believe pop Robson was in the twenties, but I haven't seen all the players announced so far. If you don't think Peters and Hurst will be in the top ten with Sir Robert, I think you are mad. These two both scored in the WC Final and both scored. There's no way they are going to be kept out of the top ten.

The top ten have been announced and they want fans to put them in order. As expected the World Cup heroes are all in there.

No, i obviously know exactly how may games each of our players have started......I knew it wasn't many, certainly not enough to be featuring in any top ten.

I was also pleased to see Brian Dear at 45.
If you look at the stats you could claim his goals in the Cup Winners Cup in 64/65 were responsible for the eventual success. Geoff Hurst unaccountably failed to score in that tournament.

The Bish
In this day and age surrounded by players who could read his game those who think he was a bit flakey would change their tune pretty quickly.
Plus he was a top bloke and looked dead cool with his long hair - which not everybody can do.
These days he would be compared to Italy's finest player of the millenium - Pirlo

Didn't Brian Dear hold some kind of scoring record, 5 goals in 20 minutes or summat?
He was guaranteed to score a goal off his arse or off his shoulder
